A small single team efficient practice offering individual client attention by the principal. Established in Southwold 1968 by Brian Haward. Managed from The Rope House, Station Road, SOUTHWOLD, Suffolk – a converted 1930’s warehouse, historically attached to one of the old ropewalks in Southwold.

Articled under Eric Sandon FRIBA an authority on the history of Suffolk Housing but renowned for a modern interpretation of the Suffolk style. Further worked under Birkin Haward best known for his avant garde work on Suffolk Schools but also a national authority on Suffolk and Norfolk stained glass and mediaeval Suffolk church arcade and roofs.

The practice offers a varied range of works including new build, conversions, commercial and leisure projects, garden works, furniture design and also the repair and restoration of churches and monuments around East Anglia.
