Paul Weston Architect
Paul began his architectural career in 1973 and joined the company in 1978, qualifying as an Architect in 1979. He became a Director of The Charter Partnership in 1985 and later Chairman; Charter was sold to SMC Group (now NORR) in 2006, and Paul left in 2011 to become a Consultant and formed Paul Weston Architect Ltd.
His main area of expertise is in the Sport and Leisure sector, both private and public funded. He has developed over 35 years specific experience of designing swimming pools and leisure centres principally in the public sector including liaison with management operators. These developments include community facilities such as youth services, health care, theatre and arts provision.
Paul works closely with clients to guide and advise them through the business case, feasibility, design and building procurement process. Paul ensures that his strong beliefs in motivation, collaborative working and obtaining client satisfaction are communicated to members of the design and construction team on all his projects.
Paul is a financial donor for the Paul Weston Architecture Scholarship at Manchester University.
